Reverend Dr. Michael A. Chambers

Dr. Michael A. Chambers is a native Mississippian. Dr. Chambers is married to the former Lizzie B. Davis. He is the father of four adult children: Nicholas, Nykia, Aja, and Sean and grandfather of two: Sean and Summer. 

Dr. Chambers accepted Jesus Christ, his personal savior, at an early age. He has been serving in ministry for thirty-three years. During his years of non-profit and ministry experience, Dr. Chambers has provided pastoral care, teaching, coaching, leadership training, entrepreneur mentorship, ongoing support for military veterans and mental health counseling for a diverse population. He has become, to many, a trusted outlet for those individuals struggling to find meaning and purpose in the most crucial times of life. Many describe Dr. Chambers as an outgoing, purpose-driven, compassionate and a strong advocate for excellence. 

Dr. Chambers is a Clinical Board-Certified Chaplain with Orlando Veterans Administration Healthcare System. He facilitates weekly preaching and teaching through an online platform and leads a daily prayer group. Dr. Chambers served as Senior Pastor for churches in Mississippi, Georgia, Maryland, and Florida. Dr. Chambers has developed multiple development programs for military veterans while simultaneously serving as a Senior Pastor. He is a veteran of the United States Army. Dr. Chambers has substantial experience and education to address, support, and provide spiritual care for the following: Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, moral injury, negative thinking, life-altering fears, spiritual injury/ spiritual distress, depression and anxiety. Dr. Chambers’ systematic practices of care is informed by the Word of God and Evidence-Based.

Dr. Chambers earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama, his Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana and Doctorate degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He completed additional graduate hours in business from the University of Baltimore. In addition, Dr. Chambers has the following certifications and credentials: Mental Health Integration- Veteran Administration and Vanderbilt University Divinity School Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt- Orlando Veteran Administration Healthcare System, Certified Public Manager-University of Baltimore-Schaffer Center and Community Building Strategies- University of Baltimore. He is a Board-Certified Chaplain- National Association of Veterans Affairs Chaplains with a Specialty in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and the Association Pastoral Counselors-BCCI. Dr. Michael A. Chambers is a Certified Coach, Speaker, and Leadership trainer with John Maxwell Group.
